Para Sport isn’t universal, and the shadow of disability often precludes people from doing sport.  Many choose to remain confined to their homes, rather than face the often daunting reactions of others when using a wheelchair, prosthetic limb(s) or walking aids.


At HK Physio Limited we have orchestrated a paradigm shift in rehabilitation, and through our Adventure Rehabilitation programmes, have proved those suffering from life changing injury have boundless potential with proper support. For the last two years, our Adventure Rehabilitation programme has been inspiring and transforming the outlook, perception, and lives of our patients.

In collaboration with our partners, we have crafted exciting opportunities that challenge and inspire individuals navigating life-changing injuries.  From thrilling introductions to sailing, kayaking, and climbing, to the exhilaration of racing in Cowes Week and kayaking on the ocean or on white water.  Our goal is always to provide bespoke rehabilitation to meet the needs of every individual. 


We provide guidance and support, helping individuals to overcome any challenges and barriers they encounter.  The skills and strengths cultivated through our programmes become powerful tools that can be applied to their daily lives.

Entering this year’s Cowes Week in the Sonar comprising of three amputees and their physiotherapist, shone a powerful spotlight on the extraordinary capabilities of amputees and individuals facing life-changing injuries.  Clinching the remarkable 5th place overall from the 18 strong Sonar fleet is a spectacular testament to the indomitable spirit of achievement and unyielding determination.
